President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday announced strict travel bans on foreign nationals from high-risk countries, including Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Germany, the US and the United Kingdom.
The World Health Organisation says Europe is now the epicentre of the corona virus outbreak which originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
(According to John Hopkins University in the US) In the United Kingdom a total of one-thousand-553 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed. To date, 56 people have died, while 53 have recovered.
