U.S. authorities have advised those traveling to South Korea to be extra cautious amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
On Friday local time, the State Department raised its advisory level by one notch to level two,… from ‘normal precautions’ to ‘increased precautions.’
The CDC also raised its advisory to ‘Alert’ level,… asking travelers to avoid contact with sick people and to wash their hands regularly.
The health agency also advised that older adults with chronic diseases should consider postponing unnecessary travel to South Korea.
In response,… Seoul says it’s not banning U.S. citizens’ from visiting and that the CDC recommendations does not affect South Korean nationals returning to the country.
Meanwhile,… the health authorities of Israel have decided to ban Korean travelers from entry.
