See How to Travel by Train in Germany

Hello Hoppers! The first time I took a train in Germany I was lucky enough to have a friend explain where and when I had to go. Because we don’t always have help at hand, in this video I give you some pointers to make train travel through Germany easier. I go step by step, through the whole procedure, how to buy a train ticket, read the timetables, find your seat, …

In this video I go from Mannheim to Nuremberg, with a transfer in Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof (Hbf = Hauptbahnhof = main train station), and back.

If you want to see more on my visit to Nuremberg:

CORRECTION: DB used to stand for “Deutsche Bundesbahn” (German Federal Railways), but not anymore, since 1994 it’s just “Deutsche Bahn”.

Website of the Deutsche Bahn, or German Rail System, for information, departure times, and purchase of tickets:
http://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml

For more info on DB Lounges: http://www.bahn.com/i/view/GBR/en/services/overview/first_class_lounges.shtml

Thanks for watching Hoppers. Happy Travels!! See ya XXOO MuchoHop
