New Bridge over the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok is under construction. The old Rama 9 Bridge opened on the 5th of December 1987 and is exactly 35 years old. The New Bridge should open next year.

They are the longest river bridges in Thailand. The span over the river is 450 meters and the total lenght is 782 meters (2565 feet). Next to the bridge you will find the HM Rama 9 Park.
