T’puram: BJP State President K Surendran’s travel to Thiruvananthapuiram from Kozhikode, in open violation of the lockdown regulations, has sparked a controversy. Earlier, the Prime Minister had exhorted the citizens to stay where they are and the Kerala leader undertook the journey despite this instruction. Surendran clarified that he took special permission from the police for travelling.
