In Kasaragod, we hear some unique names for food items. Kuchill Restaurant had a whole list of such items. I was confused after going through their menu. My friend, Naushad, helped me to understand the dishes. Out of all the dishes that I tasted at Kuchill, Umbichi Kozhi Kachiyath (spring chicken fry) was my favorite. The restaurant functions from a traditional Kerala home converted into a restaurant. It was a pleasant experience altogether.
